THIS IS THE FIRE DANGER PERIOD
1st September - 31st March
During the Danger Period, you MUST HAVE A PERMIT to burn.
1. Contact your local brigade to arrange for a Permit Officer to visit your property.
2. Even though you have been provided with a PERMIT, you MUST still tell Fire Control and give all your neighbours 24 hours notice of your intentions.
Failure to obey these simple rules will result in prosecution and a hefty fine.
The Fire Control Centre is open 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.
